At the renovated historic Studium Bookshop and at the Museo del Profumo in Palazzo Mocenigo, The Merchant of Venice offers the exclusive experience to be "initiated” into the Venetian Perfuming Art through exclusive courses and workshops aimed at bringing enthusiasts, adepts or even simply curious to the fascinating world of perfume creation.

THE EXPERIENCE

It will be an engaging sensory journey: you will get to know the fascinating Venetian History of Perfume over the centuries, you will have a direct olfactory approach with the most important raw and synthesis materials, you will learn everything about the different olfactory families and finally you will design the pyramid of a fragrance.

Led step by step by our experts, at the end of this journey you’ll be able to compose a real personalized fragrance. A unique and exclusive perfume to take home with you as a memory of this special and fragrant journey.

LOCATION

All the activities will take place at the Perfume Museum at Palazzo Mocenigo and in the splendid setting of the Studium Bookshop, very close to St Mark’s Square. Here you will find a room entirely dedicated to olfactory culture with perfumery publications and an innovative interpretation of the ancient organ of the master perfumer.
