La Fenice Collection is an artistic perfumery project that connects The Merchant of Venice with an internationally renowned institution, Gran Teatro La Fenice. These two worldwide recognized Venetian realities are characterized by a continuous research and investment in creativity and elegance.
The Collection, which includes two Eau de Parfum inspired by the musical tradition of the Theater, is now enriched with a new creation: My Pearls.
As the name suggests, the pearl is the source of inspiration for this olfactory composition. The precious gem, with its elegance and brilliance, is a universally appreciated symbol of femininity, worn by great sopranos who have trodden the stage of the Fenice, like Maria Callas. La “Divina” is still considered the greatest soprano of the 20th century and an icon of timeless style, so to celebrate her the Gran Teatro la Fenice hosts a permanent exhibition about her life.
For this feminine fragrance enclosed in an elegant opalescent bottle, the perfumer was inspired by the preciousness of pearls to pay homage to the Theater and to Maria Callas, an interpreter with an overwhelming personality who spent important years in Venice. The light blue packaging opens like theater curtains, leaving the scene to the bottle which stands inside like a singer on the stage, with a representation of the Theater in the background. The addition of two golden logos of the Fenice, at the neck of the bottle and on the outside of the package, further embellishes the creation.
The floral, powdery and musky fragrance is characterized by delicate and soft notes of white flowers. The slightly powdery start is a celebration of the most famous opera linked to the history of the Fenice: La Traviata. The protagonist, Violetta, also embodied by Callas, is here recalled by a particular accord of wild violet. This accord is enriched by fruity notes of blackcurrant and spicy peppery tones that bring a touch of modernity and freshness.
Then there is the explosion of the floral bouquet of sweet white flowers, that is perfectly combined with green facets of rose petals, which illuminate the composition with radiance.
Finally, a creamy and warm base closes the fragrance with enveloping notes of tonka bean and sandalwood that blend with musky accords with flowery and fruity facets, to obtain a delicate long-lasting with a unique elegance.
